66/72, 92%

It said the average was 80% so I guess I'm pretty good. I do tend to notice minute details on things (like I can pick out my luggage from a luggage carousel easily), never really thought about how it applies to people though.

I'm bad with names though.

I have this problem on online dating sites all the time, especially when half the pics are myspace angles. If there are 5 chicks in the picture, freaking tell us which one you are.

Taking this test now.

edit: 66/72, 92%. Better than I thought.

I have a story on this. I was on a jury where the defense's main point was attacking the victim's ability to correctly identify the defendant, who was black. The expert witness was a local college professor who had done a lot of research, and the main premise was that someone who is not used to seeing another race can often times confuse faces and not ID correctly, i.e. white people think all Asians look alike and all blacks look alike, so a pick on a lineup would be inaccurate and cannot be relied upon.

So the victim gets to the stand. He's Indian (dot not feather). The prosecutor asks him where he grew up. Victim answered he was born in Jamaica and moved to New York City as a teenager and currently works in LA. Then he was asked what his occupation was. He works at a recording studio as a tech his whole life. What genre? Hip hop.

Anyway, we convicted the guy and when I left the courthouse there was a bum wearing a cool starry bra.

Out of 72 faces, you correctly identified 71.
In other words, you got 99% correct.

not if they're asian.

I have a harder time with Asian people, but not too bad. I have a really hard time with black people though.

I think its just what you're exposed to. I see tons of Asian people every day, but only a few black people every now and then.

I'm sure I failed the the first "memorize these 6 faces" portion of the test, but my ADD kicked in and couldn't finish the test when faced with the second version of "memorize these 6 faces."

Out of 72 faces, you correctly identified 72.
In other words, you got 100% correct.

I got way bored towards the end and just started answering based on gut feeling.

Boy I did poorly...
Out of 72 faces, you correctly identified 42.
In other words, you got 58% correct.

I really concentrated on the faces too. Presented with a choice I simply fell flat and could not tell one from another.

In real life I always actually identify people. I have a harder time with names than most, but faces I can recognize.

I consider myself pretty bad with faces... but I still got:
Out of 72 faces, you correctly identified 69.
In other words, you got 96% correct.

I think I have more trouble remembering exact features later on. I will recognize a face, but if you ask me what their eye, or sometimes even hair color, I won't remember.

72 out of 72. I just related each of the faces to someone I knew or knew of and it made it much easier to pick out subtle differences.

That test was more boring than shit.

Douchey McBaggus, an 88 year old man From the UK, got 44 of them right.
