Can you tell me where the 4 cores are on i7?

odd...my cores 1 and 3 are usually hotter than 2 and 4.

@morpheus, since i started counting at 0, meaning my 0-2 = your 1-3, etc.. then it's the same!

@aggressor, hmm... but this is on idle, it said that my cpu was running @ ~1200mhz.. unless it can slow down the other cores or shut them off?

0 and 2 are paired, as are 1 and 3. My temps are similar to yours, so I guess the qpi is what makes the left cores get hotter.
