Can you take online traffic school in California for a 10MPH over speeding ticket?

Got my thing in the mail today $127 with traffic school does California allow you to do it online? I dont have time with work and school to sit in class for 6 hours anyone know what are some good fast ones?

If I fight the ticket and lose can I still take traffic school to get the point off my record?

I cant get ahold of a real person to check if I am even eligiable for traffic school let alone see if I can take online school all I get it automated telephone garbage
 
you'll have to check with the court that issued the letter. from what I remember the time is a requirement. was this a ticket you tried fighting? i think you posted something about getting a ticket a little while ago.....
 
you should be able to do it supposedly if the county or city this happened in allows online traffic school. this is what my friend who just completed it told me.

word of caution! as i stated, my friend completed it but he did it about 2 weeks before the certificate was due and it never showed up. so now he has a point on his insurance and the certificate still hasn't shown up. it's been about 16 days since he took it. the online school tells its visitors to enroll early because there is about a 2 week processing period.

so it's really up to you if you want to go the online method. if you do, enroll early.
 
Im in Orange County this is the ticket that I was going to fight I think I might just pay it to get it off my record... Has anyone done traffic school online in Orange County? If so give me a PM pleae or email me at SnowPunk98@tkkclan.org
 
The ticket you were issued has a phone number on it for a court house. Call that number and they will give you an answer.

Visit the courthouse then. Unless they have computers that you can talk to now 😉
 
Orange County does not accept online or self study traffic school. LA County does though. So if you were in Orange County when caught then you are out of luck.
 
Yes. You can take those 8 hour Saturday ones though. Get a phone book. They have all sorts (Magic Traffic School, Comedy Traffic School, etc).
 
K.. if you in OC you are out of luck.. OC doesn't offer online courses.. your traffic court most likely is the north court located in fullerton.. $132 is probably includes traffic school.. because OC Courts offer the schools themselves.. I think.. you can take one Saturday class.. or 2 wednesday night classes.. I have already attended twice 🙁 unless they changed it in the last 6 months that's how it is supposed to be..

whatever you do, avoid the A-1 traffic school in Culver City. I spent a Saturday there watching auto horror flicks filmed in the 70s and listening to the instructor yell at us, telling us what bad drivers we were. :disgust:


the sad part is i'll have to schedule another visit to a traffic school within the next 30 days...any recommendations?
