Would sueing them be really politically incorrect or even possible? B/c of their irresponsible ruling against my friend's neighbor, my friend is gonna have a big and costly environmental problem, and it will be caused by the DEC !!!

NE1 here even have any legal problems w/the DEC?

First: Its Digital Equipment Corporation. Yes, CPQ paid cash for them.

for some stupid arse reason the liability of cleaning lies not with the entity responsible for the mess but whoever owns the property when the mess is discovered.

Ahh, yes, Digital Equipment Corporation. Ken Olson. DECathalon. Maynard. Being able to book cruises on the QE2 for your family (including me as a lil' tyke) and having the company pay for it. Flying to Monaco, Greece, the Azores, Puerta Vallarta, Paris, Rome, Hong Kong and having the company pick up the tab for EVERYTHING. Stupid motivational 'movie' videos with Charlie Sheen and 80's yuppieness smeared all over. It couldn't last forever...

The good ol' days before layoffs...

izzat true? that sounds like something to be decided in a court, but that means big legal fees and a drawn out process. One can sue a government agency like this though, right? They fscked up.
