Voters are so fucking stupid. I swear to god, only 5% of this country can make an informed vote. I would say this is not irrelevant to Obama, because this is clearly how he lost in several battleground states (not the swing states).

It is not much different however, to going to an extremely pro-obama area, and then asking the same people there why they don't like Mitt Romney. Nobody makes informed decisions, so many people just vote through their own breakfast club.

Can't say I'm exactly shocked that rednecks are uninformed and ignorant. This is the other side of when Howard Stern sent a person into Harlem. Unfortunately both sides get their fair share of stupid. I sometimes believe that the Republican side went back for second helpings though.

He only lost NC and IN this time around. And in 2008 he just barely won those states. And I see these comments all the time and they are really off base to be honest. We all vote based off some criteria that is important to us as individuals. My preference may be different from yours, but that doesn't mean its any less or more important.

We all vote based off some criteria that is important to us as individuals. My preference may be different from yours, but that doesn't mean its any less or more important.

It's one thing to vote based on your ideals. I can respect that, even if I don't necessarily agree with them (see: Egypt). The people in that video don't vote based on their ideals; they vote based on blatant lies that any reasonable person should be able see through. This country has an absolutely ridiculous wealth of information that's freely accessible, yet these people choose to remain ignorant, and they bring that ignorance into the ballot box.

Self-governance comes with a responsibility to stay educated and informed. Willful low-information voters are traitors to America.
