Can you solve this riddle?

Here it is: Why would a detective doubt this story? A lady, dreaming that she was drowning, became so frightened that she died of a heart attack in her sleep.

Our professor likes to give us little riddles like this for extra credit and I can usually solve them but this one is giving me trouble.

Darn. Notfred and I posted on the same minute but got in first.

Now we need to know the answer to this question: Does the woman talk in her sleep?

And if she's talking in the middle of a forest, does anyone hear her?

Hmmm... my wife was talking in her sleep about a bear the other night... she was breathing really funny too. I gently woke her up to get her out of her bad dream. On the other hand, I could have grabbed her, yelled "grrrr", and sent her into a heart attack. The perfect murder 🙂 (Actually, I just put my arm around her, said "I love you" to her, and it woke her up enough to get her out of her nightmare, and to stop talking in her sleep so I could get back to sleep. The nerve of her... talking in her sleep and waking me up.)
