Can you smell the difference?

Do you think that your urine possesses a unique smell that you could recognize? Could you smell the difference between yours and someone elses? Sort of like dogs and other animals that mark their territory. Is that possible with humans?

yes

during the Vietnam War, American soldiers were strictly told to not wear deoderant or shampoo or anything that may attract smell through solvents to bathing oils

unfortunately, as stubborn some soldier were, they refused to use brown soap and get dirty in the trechorous, yet beautiful jungles of Vietnam. many Vietnamese soldiers utilized the smelling sense to take down US soldiers according to scents and territory control.

let alone the tactics, your senses can achieve a great deal if you focus your mind and let them evolve

also, you rememer in X-men the movie? Wolverine has super smelling senses, they do not exagerate that ability that humans can achieve. in fact, in the Special Forces, smelling is very important, as reaching the extremes of the human body is necessary during covert ops.

Well, I was just in the bathroom, and someone hadn't flushed the urinal, and it smelled pretty funky. So I flushed it, then I went. And mine smelled much different. Not as offensive. And I started wondering if I didn't flush the urinal, if mine would smell as offensive to someone else.
I did flush, but I was just wondering.

i don't think so. the smell changes depending on what you eat. asparagus, for example. or sugar crisp.
exactly. No way you could tell yours from others. Might know what you eat normally and tell it apart from someone that was eating something different.

i think it is too dependent on diet... if someone drinks a lot of water their piss probably wont smell like anything at all

My 6-10 20oz bottles of water a day renders my urine completely without smell. Unless, of course, that darn asparagus comes into the equation...

Time to start a study. Maybe you could get a federal grant and live life on Easy Street.

PM me your address and I'll start sending you samples.

I think if you pooped to mark your territory, that might work. See, everyone elses would smell like poop, but your own would smell less-bad.
