Hi,
I have an old PC with only 64MB of RAM. Now I am reading that all those anti-virus programseat alot of system resources. Now, isn't it possible that it will only eat those resources when you run the program and when you close it that it doesn't use any system resources at all and unloads or whatever you call that?! Can't you simply do that by disabling the monitor function in your AV?
So in case of Kasperky, is "real time protection" its monitor function? If I simply disable this, will it not eat any system resources at all when I close the program after scanning or is it not that simple?! Anybody could please explain this cause I want to be 100% sure about this!
Also, anybody knows a good simple free program that let's you see how much RAM is used?
Thanks for all clear info!
Cheers, Mike.
