Just wondering if after xp is installed, you can remove the monitor and just access the computer from Remote Desktop Connection. If so, can you remove the video card too? I'm guessing yes to the monitor and no on the vid card. Thanks

That's what I do. My computer won't boot without a graphics card though, so I stuck a $3.00 "stealth 64" 2 mb pci card in there and didn't bother installing the drivers. You obviously don't need a keyboard or mouse either-

In 99% of the cases you will need a video card in the computer even to boot it. But yes, once XP is installed, and Remote Desktop is working, you can remove all peripherals, and have just the network cable plugged in (if you choose), and still have a fully functional PC.

Agreed! I have two computers in my basement that I remote desktop to. In both cases I did need a (cheapy!) vid card to successfully boot.

i believe that is the error settings. have your bios not stop on any errors, including no keyboard.
