can you run games on linux? Im thinking of switching

I currently have windows xp and wanted to try out linux
does it run games like mohaa, NFS?

what version should I get?

runs internet right?

Yeah, it runs the internet... The end guy in the linux version of the internet is hard.

Depend on what games, but most won't.

And, forget Wine because it suck, because not only it make your P4 3ghz feel like a celleron 500mhz and it is unstable (I'm exagerating but in the early days Wine were 1/3 to 1/4 speed when running navtive WinApps).
