Can you run games from Network Drives?

Can you run games over a network? I was thinking about having the following set up. Having a central server with say a very large drive with either a scsi or raid setup. The server will have a el cheapo vid card and prob integrated sound, etc and ill have a gaming comps with high end components, except in order to save $$ the client comps would have small Hd, say 4.3gb. Now if i install the game on the network drive(located on server) through the client comps will it work?

Depends on the game, some will, some won't. Some games write info in the registry which won't happen unless you actually run the setup program. Many games want the CD in the drive and won't recognize a network CD drive.
