Can you RMA an OEM AMD chip with a retail HSF?

I bought a retail 1.4 GIG Heatsink from a person and was wondering if I buy a broken 1.4gig OEM chip and make like a fake receipt or whatever and try to RMA it, would it work?

We do not condone this sort of action here on these forums.
