Can you remove Documents under the start menue in Win98?

What OS are you on?


If 9X then it comes on the cd but if ya have WinMEthen ya have to search for the app called TweakME. I forget where its at for 2K but I know its available for free also.

go to microsoft.com (shudders) and do a search for tweakui 1.33

how about just search for the recent folder on your drive and delete the shortcuts in it... much easier hehe

Or simply edit the registry, if you're comfortable with it, and change the following
Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value, called 'NoRecentDocsMenu' set the value to equal 1, this key can be found under the following path in the registry

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]

Or, you can change it the key in either HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, to affect every user created on the system
