With FarCry and the 64-bit extended content patch applied at 1600x1200/8xAA(Adaptive-quality and edge detect)/16xAF/HDR/every in-game setting maxed out I get pretty much exactly 10 fps more with my core at 790/ram at 1028 than I do at 625/993, which is certainly noticeable (with nightvision on I get down to 40 (or 50) fps in heavy vegitation in some spots).
I've done a few FRAPS runs and it's amazingly consistent.
That's an old (and shader heavy, as I understand it) game. Still looks gorgeous
I have the UT3 demo, but since it rides off the FPS cap at my max resolution (1600x1200) that's no use
I also have HL2:Ep2, which I imagine will give it a reasonable workout when I turn the AA up?
