Can you recommend a Verizon compatible phone for my Mom? (removeable battery)

For the past ~5 years or so, I've purchased Motorola Droid Turbo 2 unlocked cell phones for myself, friends and relatives. It was a flagship phone with a 21mp camera, plus wireless charging. The 3GB Ram & 32GB storage space were also nice. On the downside, replacing the battery is rather difficult.

I got one (Droid Turbo 2 XT 1585) for my Mom about 8 months ago, and it stopped working. Turns out she had been jamming the USB cable in the wrong way, and any of the cables I've tried are very loose, not making good connection. My son and I tried using several parts phones to get one up and working, but I've finally decided that at nearly 6 years old, we need to find a newer model phone for her, preferably something that has come out in the last year or so.

She and my Dad use Verizon, so it would need to be compatible with that. I'd also like one where I can replace the battery without having to remove 20 mini Torx screws. USB C would also be fantastic, because then she wouldn't be destroying the charging port when trying to hook it up at night.

Can anyone recommend a decent phone that might meet these 3 needs? Thanks so much!

Ended up going with the LG G5, due to ease of replacing the battery, plus USB C to make charging easy for my Mom. (who never liked wireless charging for some reason) I found a brand new Verizon one, shrinkwrapped in box, for $100.

Sorry we didn't respond. Certainly an older phone, but for the money it's hard to complain.

if you don't like charging stuff a magnetic cable probably would help.

I'd go with an LG G5 :) I actually have a Droid Turbo 2 sitting in a drawer, I can't bring myself to throw old electronics away. My wife loved it, but I think it just stopped responding one day.
