I can... all but the thumbs. It makes a popping noise like cracking your knuckles, and the bump on the back of the hand where the finger connects visibly splits into 2 separate bumps. They snap back in place as soon as I let go. Looks painful but isn't.

Yup I can too except I let my 2yo pull them he likes the pop! this is not uncommon
 
I used to know this chick who claimed she could eat herself out. Unfortunately, I never got a demonstration. 🙁

No, we were just friends, but she was pretty limber.

Just 'cracking' your knuckles does no harm...however like anything too much / too hard can cause problems.
