Can you pull video off Directv DVR?

I've had Direct TV for about 4 years now. I have been using the old DTV Tivo unit. They sent me the Direct Tv DVR.. not a tivo unit..

How can you pull the recorded programs off the DVR to your pc?
 
You'll have to pul out the HD. 🙁 I have one and it's a pian. Think I wil buy the one with DVD-R as soon as I get my HDTV..
