Can you please tell me what this item costs you on amazon?

Please go to amazon.com and search for "coleman perfectflow 1-burner stove" and tell me the price.

For me it's $26.68. I find this funny because earlier this week I bought the thing from amazon for under $15. Some googling indicates the idea that amazon prime people can pay more for certain products. Another item I bought this week was $9.50 and is now $10.50.

Did you buy it from amazon or a 3rd party seller on amazon?

If you click on the "New for $10.99" you'll notice that amazon sells it directly for about $15, while the featured price that you see (the $26.68) is from a 3rd party that is fulfilled by amazon which is why you see the prime available.

26.68, logged in as prime.
Sold by ElectronicsPlusDiscount and Fulfilled by Amazon. Gift-wrap available.

I noticed amazon on the side at 14.88, but its 3-5 weeks out.

Yep, but trust me when I bought it this week it also said fulfilled by amazon and it WAS $14.88 and I used my trial prime membership to ship it.

Now this is strange. When I click on the other vendors I see I can in fact still order it from amazon directly AND get the prime price, and it's $14.88. Why wouldn't it have shown that on the front page?

OK "Coleman 24-Piece Enamelware Dining Kit & Cutlery Set" ships directly from amazon and has prime written all over it. They want $28.66 for it.

didn't you hear? amazon is now ebay.

at least that's what it seems like any time i try and buy something from them. they've really fucked their business model with all this outside vendor bullshit.

I've noticed if something stays in my wish list for a while the price can change dramatically. They are definitely messing with us, but since I still get stuff cheaper than in stores, I usually let it slide.

i dont know the answer but i seems to not trust amazon anymore. it seems that competitors always pulling somethig tricky. i sold my stuff 4 times and none was sucess.... all canceled order. i am suspictious of competitors pulling something dirty like trying to keep their stuff on top of everybody else by buying from others and then cancel.

Coleman PefectFlow 1-Burner Stove by ColemanBuy
new: $17.02 (shows price as used to be $29.99 but is reduced now)
23 new from $10.99
3 used from $13.99

I think I've narrowed it down. It looks like it is out of stock on amazon. However, if I want to wait 3-5 weeks to ship I can get it at the amazon price of $14.88 and it's prime-ok. If I want to buy new I can pay $17.02 with 9.32 shipping OR I can use a prime-capable vendor and their cheapest price is $26.68.

THanks everyone for checking! Panic averted for now 😀

I know, I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm just explaining to you why you see the price differences.

When you bought it, it was "sold and fulfilled" by amazon.

Now that amazon has less stock, it's putting another 3rd party seller who uses amazon to fulfill it.

my big thing was that a few stores like amazon and newegg, while not giving me complimentary blowjobs or anything, could always be depended on to have a reasonable price and good service.

i'm telling you- ebay and amazon will eventually merge. they're gradually becoming each other (making ebay infinitely less useful, too, unless you want chinese garbage).

i'd call amazon and demand it for free, or you want a refund for your fraudulent 'premium' membership. fuck that.
