Thanks, actually, I only wanted to see CPU, GPU and RAM specs.

I have a single core 3700+ socket 754 and 2GB OCZ Platinum RAM and a Geforce 6600 (non-GT) and I can still play it. I have driver 84.21 and I'm not sure if Purevideo is included but I can play it anyway.

Did anyone else think that the picture quality on that trailer sucked just a little bit?

My 50" 720p DLP looks 10x better than that running a HD-DVD.

I played it using MPC with QT alternative and then with regular quicktime and it looked better with MPC for some reason. PLayed fine in both cases, i have a OPT 165 at 2.6 ghz and a x1900xl with 2gb ram.

The quality is poor due to a low bitrate of 8 Mbps. That's also the reason it only utilizes 20% average of a P3600 with 7600GT and 1GB RAM.

In comparison, a 20 Mbps AVC such as Planet Earth utilizes 60%.

Plays very well on my AMD64+ 3200, 1GB RAM, 7800GS (AGP); CPU usage is between 30 and 60%.

When I click to play. I get a "Quicktime 7 required" popup and it doesn't stream. After downloading it, it plays perfectly and smoothly with Quicktime 7 and VLC Media Player. CPU utilization averages around 60% with either player.

With about 25-50% CPU usage on one of my cores.

In VLC or MPC.

Any modern PC should be able to handle a 1080p clip I'm guessing.
