I'm working on a phone system for a business.

I'd like to be able to set it up so I have an android phone connected to a handset, looking at Panasonic Link2Cell. So it works just like a landline.

I also want to set up a panic button for emergency. So both would be connected to the phone via bluetooth, all working hopefully.

It is a Moto E Gen 2 fwiw.

I've had a bluetooth mouse, kb, and stereo headset all connected simultaneously to one device, so I believe this is possible. Whether or not it's dependent on BT revision and android version, well that's a different discussion.

You can have multiple devices connected but they cannot share the same profile. ie you cannot have 2 speakers trying to grab the media sound profile. You CAN have a jawbone grabbing the phone audio and a speaker grabbing the media audio though, as they are 2 different profiles. You can also end up with a device that grabs both profiles, many speakers support a speaker phone type connection, and some headphones support phone chat, too. A link2cell wold take just the phone profile. If the PANIC button worked with an APP that dialed 911 (which I assume it would as well as relay a message, since the idea is you cannot get to your phone) then that should be no problem, not sure what profile it uses though.
