Yes, but I don't like it. I wear goggles if I want to do some underwater activities in a pool. I'm a weenie, I'll admit it.

Yes but it burns, and since without contacts/glasses my vision is about 20/2million, I just keep them closed under water. Can't see anyway.

my eyes were really sensitive before i started wearing contacts. now i can even touch my naked eyeball with my (clean) finger without flinching...

Yes. I thought everyone had their eyes open while swimming. Would you walk through a public restroom with your eyes closed?
