Anyone? And if you know maybe you could answer this while your at it...
Can i take a 600MB file and make it load fast or somewhat fast as a flash banner to a website? maybe a way to shrink it, or is it just to much?

which version of Flash are you using? Honestly a 600 meg avi won't work I don't think. Flash uses system memory and a file that big would cause problems. I could be wrong though.

If you have Flash MX 2004, you can import the video and export as an .flv file (Flash Video), which can be played using the Flash player in browsers. www.cnet.com has a good example. The video on the right of the page is an .flv video played through flash with nav buttons and all.

You do NOT want to export the video as an SWF file, though. Only about 6-8 min. of video in SWF format runs efficiently. After that, sync issues and lockups come into play. External .flv files solve that problem, though.

What are the specs for the video:
Frame size? Length? Amount of color? Audio?
