I was going to purchase a eVGA 7800GTX ($459) and a MSI K8N Neo4 Plat. Ultra Athlon 64 skt 939 atx board ($122), until I came across this:

I read XFX OC 7800GT($369) in the Mid-Range Review http://www.anandtech.com/guides/showdoc.aspx?i=2535&p=5 which performed just below the 9800GTX.
I don't mind spending the money on the eVGa GTX and the MSI board, but if you can overclock their 7800 GT to something similiar to the XFX card and get the free motherboard; it could be worth it. Granted the motherboard is not a piece of garbage. And I could always add another 7800 GT to that board which would total around $768.
So the options are:
eVGA 7800GTX and the MSI board (around $581)
eVGA 7800GT X2 and the nVideo Board (around $768)
All constructive input is welcomed. I will gladly accept other options also.
