Can you not forward items in World of Warcraft?

I bought about 8G worth of stuff from the AH with one character and forwarded those mails with their items to another. Now the second character has a bunch of item-less mails and character 1 has nothing. The 8G of stuff is just gone.

Any ideas?
 
I've been playing WoW for a while and forwarding mail is a new one to me 😕 Maybe part of a UI I don't use... Mail containing text and/or gold is instant, mail containing items takes 60 minutes. Wait it out perhaps?
 
with the ct_mail mod, it adds a forward button.

I use it all the time to gear up my alts.

Strange that the items would disappear, might try petitioning about that in-game.
 
was any of the accounts a trial account?
if so, i think thats why.

if not, are you sure you actually put the item in the message?
i used to mail items to my alts all the time.
