Can you name this Atari / NES game?

It was one of the very first games that i can recall playing in my childhood years. I don't remember much about it, apart from the fact that it was either on the Atari 2600 or the NES (most likely Atari by far). It was medieval-style, had really good music, and may have been vampire-themed. I think i remember bats and graveyards. Anyone?

If it had good music and you could tell it was Medieval style from playing it I doubt it was Atari.

Another vote for ghouls n ghosts, or ghosts n goblins. It was the first game I saw for the NES, and back in the day I was pretty impressed by the graphics ("whoa...rad, man!").

If it helps out, the premise was that you're this lil knight/king guy running around (in underwear at first, but later on you eventually find armor) chucking different kinds of weapons (lances...and other stuff that I don't remember). Hope it helps.

Edit: forgot to add in that I don't remember if there were vampires or not, but I know that there were graveyards/gravestones, zombies, and even lucifer himself as the endgame boss type character thing.
