I am wondering if i get a second Cable connection, Can I link the 2 of them together to form as 1 connection with 2 times the bandwidth? Is there software or hardware that can do this?

THis may be a strange question, Or maybe it is common practice :)
Thanks

There are several threads about this in the past couple of weeks. No you can't bond them unless the ISP supports it explicitly. You can get a device to split traffic between them, but a single connection to a server will still be limited to the speed of a single broadband line. Only multiple downloads will be sped up since each of two could be on separate lines.

Symantec OEM's the Nexland box (soon to be part of Symantec proper) which supports the dual feed. I run a cable and a dsl line. Lore Evermore is right, an individual connection only uses one source at a time, but multiple will spread over the two.
