Looking to upgrade my venerable Matrox G400 to a Geforce 2 Pro 64mb video card. Play a few games but mostly used for Web Design Apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash etc.)

Got Matrox card a few years ago for stellar 2d and I haven't been disappointed! However would like to upgrade to Geforce2 and mod to a Quadro (due to poor GeForce 2 2d); I have seen the links on how to do this but looks like it requires soldering which I am not a pro at. Does anyone know if there is a way around this?

Here are my current Specs...

MSI K7TPro2A
Duron600@950
256mb Crucial CAS2
IBM 60GB 75GXP Hard Drive
Matrox G400
SB Live Value
Netgear 10/100 NIC
Toshiba 12x DVd
TDK 12x/10x/32x CDRW
1.44 floppy
Antec SX1030B Case
Linksys 10/100 4 Port Router
Sony E400 19" Monitor
Boston Acoustics BA4800 speakers

The Quadro mod and the image quality mod are two completely different and separate mods.

While I too would like to attempt the image quality mod if it didn't involve soldering, I don't think there are any other practical solutions.
