Can you map a drive to an external (USB2) hard drive?

I have a 250GB Maxtor external drive. I am trying to share a folder on it that I can access from another computer on my network.

When I try to map a network drive to the external drive i get the error: Not enough server storage is available to process this command.


Is there a way to map to external drives???

I just right moused it and chose share. My 3 PCs can see and use it fine. I did nothing special to get it to work other than that.

Is your drive USB or firewire??

I havent been able to figure this out...have tried opening access to the share to "Everyone", rebooting etc.

Anyone have an idea/?
