Can you increase the pointer (mouse) speed beyond windows settings?

Now that I have a 2000FP the mouse doesn't move fast enough across the screen, even with the pointer speed maxed out in Mouse Properties. Any way to speed it up more?

I have the same problem with my mouse, no idea how to speed it up though.

Check the registry settings mentioned here and see if one or more of them works for you.

install mouse drivers ~ Logitech drivers are good

I tried the registry settings and after I reboot they just reset to what they were before I changed them.
I have an Intellimouse Explorer and the microsoft drivers are already on xp so installing them makes no difference.
But I turned off Enhance Pointer Precision and now its faster but kind of erratic.

Went to the page that Zelmo suggested. Edited the key MouseSpeed to 4 and WHAM my mouse is flyin fast!!!
