Can you ID this flag?

I did a few searches like nazi era german flags and nazi European flags and did see anything.

My father was a grunt in the WWII under Patton and he managed to save a few Nazi artifacts. I didn't know about this one though. I was going through a box and it just sort of popped out. When I saw the swastika, I nearly shit myself. Here's the full view. It's about the right size to be a handkerchief.

Sh**. It's got to be Italian. But like I said, nothing came up.

Thanks. I've seen that flag referred to as "rare" in a couple of places now but I did find one that had been auctioned off and it only fetched $120. [shrug] I know there are a lot of people fascinated with Nazi "memorabilia" so saying that something in that category is "rare" but not especially value leaves me puzzled.

rare doesn't always translate into valuable.

I am pretty sure that the market for Nazi memorabilia is pretty small.

Potential weird dilemma though - if something could fetch a decent sum but in selling it you'd be making someone happy who you might not be happy about making happy.
