Can you help me?

I have a 17" monitor that flickers all the time. I was wondering if there is a way to fix that or what. I don't want to throw it out. For some reason when I open Explorer it stops. Please help me out. PM me with answers and comments.

I had the same problem, resolved it by buying a new monitor.

It's time to let it go Cycad. It's not worth fixing when yoy can get a new one for $150 or so. It could be the cord though. Did you try changing it?

make sure you don't have any magnets or unnecessary metal objects near your monitor as they can interfere with the refresh and CRT itself. Make sure you have a stable power source and all your cables are insulated. Try swapping cables, trying a different outlet/surge, compressed air to remove dust, etc...if none of those work, look for the warranty information and proclaim a new religion

Thanks guys for all your help I am got a new 19" iiyama, but I still wanted to use this as a second monitor for tv.
