I sent a resume/cover letter/writing sample to a local law firm in town in response to an ad about a law clerk opening. The job description was "Assist with research, case preparation and file maintainance." Anyway one of the partners e-mailed me today and asked me what my salary requirements are. I am mainly looking for the experience so it really wouldn't matter to me what it was (even though those loans are piling up 
) but from what I've heard it's better to state a figure rather than saying "whatever seems fair". What would be a good figure? Help a noob! Thx
