Can you help me identify my 9500 Pro?

I just ordered a SapphireTech Atlantis ATI 9500 Pro from googlegear (http://www.googlegear.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=320703)

It just came - the silver static protection bag is not sealed, there is no box, all the parts are held together with a rubber band. Is this a previously used card? Googlegear has never pulled anything like this before on me, so I'm not sure what to do. Anyone else get this card? Is there anyway I can test it for being either damaged, or NOT the card I ordered?

Thanks.

You ordered a bulk item. This is from googlegear. Hope it helps.

The OEM and bulk versions of a product generally have some variations from the retail version, but often a much better price. Below is a list of the most common variations you may encounter.

No fancy packaging. OEM/bulk products come in a white/brown box or simply in anti-static wrap or plastic.
Accessories may differ. Accessories such as cables and screws may not be included.
User's manual may differ. User's manual may be abridged or not included. If you find you need more installation information, it is usually available at the manufacturer's website.
Software bundle may differ. Although OEM/bulk products usually include any necessary* drivers, they may not come with the more extensive software bundle that sometimes accompanies a retail product. (*Note that some Plug and Play devices only require the standard Windows drivers, and therefore additional drivers may not be included.)

try this out

part number lookup

not sure if it will help since sapphire builds their own cards, but you could check.. you can also load up something like rage3d's tweak tool or rivatuner to see what your cards clocked at, that isa pretty good indicaiton of what it is.

You can also get the 3DMark2001 benchmark to test if it is a real 9500 pro.
If you get a score of around 10,000 or so (if you have a fast CPU) without overclocking anything,
and your fill rate score is around 2200, then you have got a pro. If the fill rate score is around 1100, you have been screwed
because you have a 9500 non pro. Only four pipes as opposed to eight.

Try it. It would also help us to know your machine configuration. If you have a slow CPU and such, these scores will go down dramatically.

first of all 3dmark2001 is highly dependant on the entire system. 2nd the 9500Pro only has 4 pipes not 8.

The 9500 pro has 8 pipelines...

edit: Text

"The Radeon 9500 runs at the same clock speeds as the Radeon 9500 Pro, but again only comes with half of the rendering pipelines of the 9500 Pro."
