Can you help me decide between these two sound cards?

I noticed on Newegg's website that Creative finally has a sound card which comes in PCI Express:

I was shocked to find out about this since I had not heard about it in the past. From the specs, it seems far inferior to their higher end X-Fi PCI models however I was wondering how it would compare to my Audigy 2ZS PCI sound card? I want to upgrade to free up a PCI slot on my motherboard.

Your audigy 2 is better than the xtreme audio. the xtreme audio is basically a SB Live, it doesnt even have a DSP so everything is done on your processor

PCI Express, finally!
Strangely, it is not listed on soundblaster.com
If these specs on newegg are right then it does not seem to be as good as the full X-Fi (xtreme gamer) but it is sure better then onboard.

Thanks. I guess I'll have to continue waiting for a good hardware based PCI-E sound card.

I wonder why no motherboard manufacturer offers a motherboard with an onboard hardware audio controller. They offer all these stupid features that most users don't need like dual ethernet controllers.

I beg to differ
-MSI had a few motherboards with on-board SBLive 24-bit chips
-I happen to like dual Ethernet ports, it's very handy (to share internet connection to other devices like XBOX 360, Audio Receiver, etc)
