Can you hear this?

Wow, interesting... I can *barely* hear it, and only because I was listening for it... if it were my ringtone I think I'd miss most of my calls unless I were in a library. I'm 29.

Anyone else remember the thread about the crazy old guy who bought the Teenager repellant that made an excessively loud noise at that pitch and his neighbor had to destroy it so he could sleep. That thread was awesome, and I hope the old guy got it in the end.

... Lol that's a brilliant idea

wtf.... that's like... a sharp destitute frequency, it's hard to hear if you're really focusing on a lecture.

I mean, you wanna be stupid, trying to message buddies during class and miss out on taking notes? high school obviously, probably the lower performance classes.

my hearing sucks. but I can still pick up a lot, usually a lot more than the average person since I'm a trance DJ. you have to listen to everything and determine if a snap, crackle or pop in a song is acceptable, depending if you want to take the time to layer the defect in the files or re-rip the song from the original media.

overall, I'd have to say that you have to be pretty lame to be goofing off in class, yet alone have your cell phone turned on during session. some teachers don't care if certain students are doing other things as long as they are not interrupting the class, generally speaking, since if a student doesn't do well on an exam, it's their own loss.
