Can two people have one account and then have two bank accounts linked to it so that each of us could deposit money into the account via our own checking accounts?

To add a new external account link:

* Please send us a personal check (for at least $1.00) made out to yourself, and drawn against the account you want linked.
* Include the word "Link", followed by your ING DIRECT Customer Number in the memo field of the check, make sure you sign it, and send it to the address below.

Keep in mind:

* You can have up to 3 external account links.
* The account you would like to link must be a checking account, not a brokerage or money market account - institutions put restrictions on these types of accounts that prevent electronic transfers.
* Voided or "starter" checks (checks without your personal information printed in the upper left corner) cannot be used. IMPORTANT NOTE: Customers who do not have an Orange Savings Account must use a voided check for $0.00.
* The name on the check must exactly match the name on your ING DIRECT account. Otherwise, we can't confirm that it's your account.
