Can you haggle on the price at a bike shop?

I want to buy both my kids bikes since we go for rides as a family on the weekends at the parks and they are outgrowing their old bicycles.

I was just wondering if the price at bike shops are set like at walmart or target or can i try to make a deal since i will be buying two and some accessories?

you should be able to. My recommendation though would be to buy the kids Walmart bikes until they are old enough they won't grow out of them.

They will normally work with you a little on price, especially on accessories. The bikes themselves have a very short margin, so they don't have a lot of room to negotiate.

If you want to save money, local police stations usually have tons of stolen bikes that are never reclaimed. They sell them here in Dallas for $10 each, no matter what kind of bike it is.

When people buy two or more bikes at my shop we usually give them at least a 5% discount, sometimes 10%.

Ask. You never know!

Depends on the store, more likely if buying more than one thing, or higher end bikes.
