Can you haggle at The GoodGuys?

We are looking at a tv at the goodguys and wonder if you can haggle there?

Yes. They will most likely always concede 10% off. I've gotten as far as 20% myself YMMV

Sidebar: I'm having a tough time with the Sony RM-AV3000 remote control. I bring up the approximate "cost" to the sales peeps as being about half of what they sell it for and can only manage 10%. I'd like to buy it there since I have a $50 gift card but I sure as hell will not waste it when I can the remote for $115 from etronics.

PS: A lot of the time they will tell you to buy a service plan if you want the a discount. Don't go for it. I've only done it once and that way because the combination of the discount and the service plan worked out such that the service plan didn't cost me anything extra. You will have more luck with this IMHO. The store I deal with is pretty decent about not forcing me to buy a service plan when giving me a discount.
