I was told that a WinFast is supposed to be good, turns out it died after three months. And it never worked quite right to begin with.

Well, regardless, I'm looking to spend anywhere between $50- a little over $100 on my next card. Thing is, it has to be PCI.

Any recommendations will be appreciated.

If you have the bucks, HDTV is really worth it. I have a MyHD 120 (the 130 is out now), and it does analog, digital and HDTV. It's just awesome and now has real good timeshifting software.

if you're getting a single tuner hauppauge, this is the one.

i think the ati theater550 is better pic quality. some complain about the software and honestly i don't use it enough to bother me. its only on my sons machine for stictly tv viewing.

i use beyondtv on my other machine with a diamond pvr550 (which is not a theater 550 but i like it, no remote though).

i sold my hauppauge 150 and got the theater 550 which is also available in pci-e.

I have an older Hauppauge 250, which I think was replaced with the 150, and it's been a flawless card. I've had it in at least 4 different systems and it has been perfect each time. BUT..... it didn't start out that way. The CD provided was full of bugs and basically useless. I DL'd the latest ones from their site.

I understand Myth is great software. I DL'd it but since the card is working fine without it I haven't taken the time to set it up.

Ive had the best luck with ATI TV cards, and no Im not a fanboy, I actually prefer NV cards for my vcards

A little confused, are you recommending not to spend money on the 350, and go with the 150?

I would recommend a ATI Theatre 550 or 650 chipset based TV tuner card. I have had a Leadtek Winfast tuner card then switched to the Hauppauge PVR150. The PVR150 is much better than the Leadtek. I recently got a Powercolor Theatre 550 PCiex1 tuner and I feel the 550 is a little better than the PVR150. Another bonus was that the Powercolor uses a vacant PCIex1 slot.
