Can you guys help me find good deals on entire system for my sister for 1000 or less shipped?
I need a computer, monitor and printer and a decent processor, nothing special, all she is going to use it for is word processing and surfing the internet. I need recommendations on all components. I think that Enlight 7237 is an ideal case though. I dont know about the modem, but I would like quality components, what do you guys think?

Ive got done some research and found these prices:

Enlight 7237 Case = 66
Logitech or Microsoft Keyboard = 20
3com 56K FaxModem Non-WinModem = 38
128MB KingMax PC150 RAM = 108
IBM 20 gig 7200rpm HD = 140
Video card = ??? dunno, no need for 3d games
Soundblaster Live 5.1(gonna switch this with my PCI512, hehe) = 75
Creative Labs 52X CD-Rom = 42
Printer = ??? what do you guys recommend
17" Monitor (for 200 dollars or less, what do you recommend)= ??? what do you guys recommend
CPU = AMD Duron 600( how good does this overclock safely and stable?)= 60
HSF = Taisol CGK
Epox 8KTA3 Motherboard (good price shipped)= 112
Printer Cable = 30

remember, pricelimit is 1000 bucks shipped, thanks for your help.

I'm thinking you could find twice that storage space for $140. You know, 20GB's is gonna seem like 2GB's in a couple years.

Check this out, prices from Multiwave:

Enlight 7237
Asus A7V133
Tbird 750
256MB PC133 (generic)
Maxtor 20GB 7200RPM
3Com PCI modem
SB Live Value
32MB Asus Geforce2 MX
Acer 52x CD
floppy

Total system price w/o monitor - $700

I'd buy the monitor locally, you'd save on shipping and be able to actually look at it before you buy... stay AWAY from Tiger Direct, their rating is horrible...

You're making this way too difficult. Go to Dell and configure a nice box for close to $650.00 shipped. Have Staples price match Onvia for a KDS Avitron AV-7TF. Add a $40 coupon and you're under $200.00 shipped. Buy a nice HP printer locally for $150.00.

That gets you a solid PC with warranty and legal software to boot. A 17" trinitron and quality printer. No muss, no fuss.

Buying more HDD than you need is stupid. The prices are dropping like crazy. When she needs more space, buy another drive. That way you'll have a second physical HDD to back up to. $50.00 will buy you about 15GB extra today. A year from now that same $50.00 will buy 3 times that!

Edit: Free shipping for a limited time.
