Can you grow your own tea?

Just curious. I love drinking tea, and was curious if there was any way I could grow my own.

The climate would have to be pretty humid and hot. Plenty of rain... you would also have to a pretty strong back and hands to get all the tea leaves. BTW what kind of tea you prefer? I'm more of a black tea kinda guy.. so bitter makes tofu taste good..

I like green tea or black tea (in a very general sense, of course).

I live in the Pacific Northwest... we definitely have the humidity.

Mabe grow it in a small hothouse of sorts?? I've seen em made from plastic tubbing and clear plastic film...
