Can you get the Media Center added on for XP Pro?

I like the media center add on and menu system, can you get one for Win XP Pro?

thats not it... extenders let u use Media Center PCs and connect them to a TV in a different room.

Windows Media Center Edition (MCE) is an OEM-only OS. There is no add-on or upgrade that can convert your operating system into MCE; you will need to do a complete reinstall.

Yes, it is possible to add MCE to an existing XP or 2003 installation, but it's pretty involved. I saw instructions on how to do it over on thegreenbutton.com forums. Unfortunately, I'm at work, and their site seems to hate all of the OS X browsers, so I can't search for the thread. MCE is no longer OEM only, so you could just buy a copy and upgrade your current XP installation.

Yes, you can buy it at newegg or whatever, but it is still an OEM copy. Upgrading from XP Pro or Home is not supported.
