Can you get that back to school $229 ipod discount online?

I know that you can get that discount at the actual Apple store, but can you get it online? My Problem with physical Apple store is that in Chicago you pay nearly 10% extra tax. Apple online store charges sales tax, but it's about half that. Don't feel like paying extra $100 just to shop at the physical store.

Don't really need that iPod touch, but I can sell it on ebay and get effectively extra $200 off the price of the laptop...

yep, they offer the free ipod online! i think you just have to submit your claim online, then you get the rebate check in the mail!

Yes, so long as you are in the Education section. Go to the online store. On the left side of the screen you will see 'Education Store'. Click that, and then select your school. And then just make your purchase there. The advantage to buying it in a physical store is that they process the rebate for you automatically, you don't have to mail anything in, and you get your money faster that way.
