I know this is a weird question but I was wondering if anyone knows of a phone number (preferably free but not a necessity) that you can call and you get either a radio station or hold music?

To make a long story short, we have always had a radio at work because it makes the day go by so much quicker. Our corporate office has now banned radios, headphones, and stereos. I would like to be able to call up a number without having talk with anyone and either listen to hold music or have a local radio station play. I've thought of just calling up home from work and having my wife put the phone over the radio but that would tie up my home phone line.

Another option is to bring in a computer and play mp3s all day but that would take up a lot of room so I guess I'd prefer not to do that and I don't have a "disposable" laptop.

Any suggestions?

p.s. - I have talked with my boss and it seems like he is unwilling to budge, so I'm just trying to be creative

Hmm... let's see...

- One speakerphone: $65
- Tying up one of your work phone lines 8 hours a day 5 days a week: $45

- Getting fired for trying to circumvent policy in the dumbest possible way: Priceless

Are you prepared to be fired? I suggest looking for a new job in advance.
