Can you get a prebuilt with decent components for price/value as home built?

I mean. Here is a GTX 2080 set up for less than I could build comparably in pc part picker

https://www.costco.com/lenovo-legio...00k---geforce-rtx-2080.product.100464914.html

I’ll be the first to admit im a basic noob and don’t know the deep specs.

I guess my question is, is there that big a difference in quality of parts?

will this Lenovo start on fire after 5 minutes and give me cancer while I sleep, or is it perfectly capable of handling games for years to come?

And is there a marked difference between something like the Lenovo and say Alienware/HP/Cuberpower?

Appreciate all opinions

I've heard Lenovo quality has gone downhill, but that's just anecdotal from a few people...BUT, buying a PC from Costco gives you a 2 year warranty, so...

I bought an IBuyPower pre- built from Costco earlier in the year. ASRock motherboard, ASUS 2070 video card, I7-9700k processor. I,O, the only real negative is the IBP AIO cooler...it's a bit noisy and doesn't do a great job of cooling. I'm thinking about replacing it with my Noctua NH-U12P SE2 cooler from my old I5-760 build...or just buying a new Noctua cooler.
