Like I visually checked and there are no visible lumps. Besides that, how else can you tell? I mean yes, no crap, I can go to a doctor but it isn't really a life and death situation and I was just wondering if there were any educated individuals who could chime in and say whether or not you can get a hernia from holding in urination for pro longed periods.
I can speak to this.
According to the urologist and gastroenterologists who worked on me "holding" is not a good thing. You can do it for short periods of time, but doing it constantly and for a long period of time may lead to problems later in life.
Holding ones BM can cause diverticulitis and perhaps lead to a weakening of the colon walls , leading to a collapsed colon. Not a good rthing as treatment may involve a partial or complete colonectomy. That might leave you with an ileostomy bag.
Holding one's pee may lead to urethural tube infections, bladder infections and possible incontinence problems later in life.
You know the saying..."When ya gotta go, ya gotta go."
edit:
\ This societal stigma against people using the bathroom , punishing them for doing so, etc is BullSh1t! Harkens one back to the eras of slave labor. Get up and go to the bathroom. The productivity will be much improved afterwards.
