can you flash BIOS without floppy?

Depends on your mobo, friend. Some brands allow you to flash while inside your OS through their special software/tool. It is also possible to boot-up with your OS, then restart using MS-DOS mode and flash from there.

You can also make a bootable CD and boot to that like a floppy, then you can flash.

LOL, how about the good old way of downloading the BIOS file, restarting in DOS mode, and flashing from DOS?

On a related note, why did you build your PC without a floppy drive?! $15 could save you a lot of trouble...

I'm not sure about this. I would first download the flash and burn it on a CD then I would switch the order of how the Bios looks for a program to start-up. (This Is done In the system configuration utilty I think thats what its called) Anyway change it so that Bios Looks In your Cd-rom before the Hardrive and any other drive to start-up. Then Put the Cd In and restart the computer. That should Work.
