im trying to remote desktop into one of the machines i have at the office. I forgot to assign it a static ip address. Is there anyway i can find the ip address from a remote location? or do I have to get to the machine to see the ipconfig?

thanks in advance

That is strange... So you have a domain, but not all the computers are in a domain? Anyway, why not remote desktop into one of them, then check out his peers.

If you set all the computers up except that one with a static IP, then just remember how you setup your scope. If you only have one DHCP client and you set your scope for 192.168.0.10 to 20, then you know it will be 192.168.0.10 by default... Just some ideas for you.
