Can you figure out what IRQ a NIC can use with empty drives?

I`m just about to install FreeBSD on a two empty SCSI drives. Actually, I already did try but the NIC's didn`t seem to want to work. They are SMC 10MB (works with FreeBSD and is on the support hardware list) and Kingston KNE110TX (which is also on the list).

I need to find out which IRQ's and such the two NIC's I have installed will work on and what ones are free.

How can I do this without anything on the drives, and no I will not install Windows just to see.
There must a DOS program that I can see what is free and such...

Thanks!

If your using SMC cards they have a program on their website called Ezstart. Just install your card in the pci slot and boot to dos. run ezstart and you'll get all your info.
good luck. if you have trouble let me know.

The PCI list that shows up when you boot your computer (just before starting the OS) shows that... just hit pause to keep it from disappearing 😉
