I don't mean going back in time. I don't know what I mean. Slowing time I guess. You would physically age just the same, but the hours would take longer, making for a longer day? Think about it, different planets have their own amount of time in a day, you're just changing your perception of Earth's.
Don't feel too bad. Time throws a lot of people, in fact most people. Arguably time is purely an illusion, a man-made concept with no basis in reality. It's part of the social contract, e.g. I'll meet you at 9:00, where ever, you have an appointment, the store opens at 10:00, etc. The notion of simultaneity (fundamental to the notion of time, at least the popular notion of time) was debunked near the beginning of the 20th century by scientists such as Einstein and Heisenberg.
The need to slow time (the sense of time) down, yes indeed! People have tried various things. Drugs, for one, but don't get screwed up or hung up. One guy I heard about changed his "schedule" to not conform to the customary 24 hour day. He went on a 23 hour schedule (or was it 25?). I'm sure the results were interesting. When you demystify it all you wind up with the fundamental truth that there's only the present. The past and future are just aspects of the present.
